Wonderful job you're doing, even linking to CEF Attestation doc.
collections online our national Archive. But we have also Virtual War Memorial of Canada - online only at Vets Affairs. Seeks pix/ info re our War Dead c1899 to now. Based on CWGC database's sparse personal info. Example below. ... While a volunteer has sent the image, there's no reference to place of birth, parentage etc. You could link to these pages - BUT ALSO submit something TO FILES to send viewers to YOUR PROJECT. VWM file ---in memory of [[Lance Serjeant MALCOLM MACDONALD died on September 22, 1916 Number: 432945 Unit: Canadian Infantry (Alberta Regiment) Division: 49th Bn. Thank you for posting information about our great-uncle, Saddler Philip McLeod. He was my grandmother's brother and she often remembered him with great affection.

I still have handwritten letters from him relating their wait for horses and other pre-battle notes as well as photos of him in uniform.

We should never forget those who at the call of their country answered. Thank you for honoring them with this site.
